Pathetic. If you're going to sponsor it, the least you can do is hold up to your words.

A BIG thanks to [xMEx] for sponsoring district 83! Special thanks to Arcadian, Alexandra, Melody, Rogue, Gennaeve, Goblins and Prednot! Thanks so much for making a smooth event! We will be sponsoring the entire finale.

It's been brought to my attention that my guild wound up "sponsoring" a district that was already "reserved" on here. While I regret any confusion this may have caused, folks need to understand that not everyone reads all of guru all the time. We did what we consider is appropriate, and then some. Begin announcements in your district early (we began 6 hours prior to the first feast, repeating roughly every 10-20 minutes ever since, then more frequently as the feast time approaches). The guild who'd "claimed" the district in this thread made NO mention of sponsoring until the chefs actually began calling for the ingredients, then griefed when they finally noticed we were there. Ugh.
At any rate, I apologize if it impacted anyone's experience in a negative way. For what it's worth, we've actually succeeded at all the feasts thus far.

Thanks for posting and doing this.
I left another place so the hosts could get someone else in the zone to help out and it turns out you have all been very entertaining all day.
Peace

I don't see why guilds have a problem when another guild 'sponsors' 'their' district. It's not like there's a limit on how many ingredients the chefs want and the more people have ingredients, the less chance there is of failure (due to d/c or whatever). Is it because they want all the gratitude of people in the dis or something?

Yeah, part of the reason why I thought posts like the OP reserving something 3 months in advance were kinda arrogant and unnecessary.
Anyway, thanks to those who sponsored districts. But that is no reason to be arrogant about it.

its do to rudeness. guild a can do all the work while guild b will stand their then shout out we did so and so. its why some dont like to share. why share when they will only claim credit and not actually help with the chefs?

Bots failed in 36 twice it seems. They really need to get their act together if they plan on sponsoring an event again. However people did get most items and a hat.

Hey All,
Had fun chilling in AD-82 with Aeire Alliance (SP??)
They did a great job the 3 times I spent the event there. I made a quick video of the festivities:

Definitely one of the most lively districts I had been in.
Once again, TY for the sponsoring and tell Snow she did a great job with Trivia!

Yes, sweet vid koko. On behalf of The Aerie I wish to offer A Million Thanks to all those that came to join us. Without you guys, we wouldn't have had as much fun. We really had a great time hosting and hope to do it again next year.

They ran 4 districts 10 times each, messed up once and dced once. I think 38/40 is pretty good. They worked really hard to get the ingredients and had awesome giveaways. I was in German 46 and they were flawless everytime. Thank you guys, BOTS RULES!!! :-)

Wanna Give Huge props to the Community for Supporting us and having fun as we [bots] had Fun too. We did our best to Host, Give many items out thru Trivia, Etc & Entertain, couple Members even gave a link to watch live streamed movies like Lord of the Rings in between waiting dull times. All Districts were SO full we had to make a 4th un advertised District just so our own alliance members could get in to benefit as well and it was still open to the community to those that showed up there. I wont lie there was a couple times Hosts got a 007 and were able to get back in fast but item was missed to chef, There was couple times the community was blocking me giving items throwing me off a tad, but it all worked out in the end. There was even a few players that donated us their items just so they could relax with us. Once again Thank You All, Hope you had Fun, I know we All did, some of us stayed up very late to morning hours Farming Sleepy Eyed to farm last minute items for Chefs and You the Community. Thank You ALL!

Thing is, [bots] hosted in quite a bunch of districts (ID2, AED36, AED69, German 46). They did it every 3 hours the whole event long.
Problem for the first 'fail' was that the item holder got disconnected and could not get back in the district. Totally not their fault.
And they missed 1 item over 880 items(excl. the 1 d/c), that's actually pretty good.
I was in district 36 all the time, and I was really satisfied with what I got.
They did have their act together.
PS; Last year they did great too

Guess this means next year, don't rely on Bots sponsor districts, because they will fail unless they get a 2nd backup host.
